Steps to add images to your blog posts using Thesis Theme

1.) You MUST SAVE your image to the media library AFTER you have resized it.
2.) Then go back to the Media Library AFTER you have saved the image. Then RE-OPEN the image, and THEN copy the File URL.

3.) Then paste the File URL (for the image) you just copied into the correct blog post in the appropriate place.

great simple tips. reminding us to re-size before we save to the media library is an important one. I have tried to re-size within Wordpress with no luck but successfully use images now in most of my blog posts and I follow the method you describe here.

    Best regards,

    Hi Jim,

thanks for the great demo on how you can insert and adjust pictures in thesis.
I have a couple of people I am helping with their blog and they have the Thesis theme.
The way with inserting the URL was new to me.
With the way it works on mine (suffusion theme) is that I can go to advanced option and adjust various things.
    Very clear instructions, thank you!

Thanks for sharing a very easy and common thing that most of wordpress users already know but avoid due to lazyness.

But i am facing another issue. when i re-size my images using wordpress then it only re-size to its height not to width.

Please Suggest what to do..? I need your expert advice.!
