This thesis tutorial will show you how to add your blog URL or web address to Google Webmaster Tools. Extremely helpful in gaining some online visibility for your blog. In steps #2 and #3 below, I show you how to create a Google XML sitemap and then submit that Google XML sitemap  to your Google Webmaster Tools.

So basically you want to:

  1. Submit your blog URL to Google Webmaster Tools
(  follow video in this post )
  2. Create a Google XML Sitemap

  • Great little tutorial for Thesis Jim. Thesis having built in head and script boxes is powerful although when one reaches the point of many of my sites which may have about 6 or more items in both boxes, the box is neither wide enough or user friendly enough and I find myself prone to typos as I try to get everything in them. However, for a user that is only doing a single or double verification process, its a piece of cake with thesis.

    Hi Jim,
I’ve just bought the Thesis theme version 1.8.2 and I’ve been nosing around on You Tube for tutorials.
That’s where I found your site.
The tutorials you offer on your great site will really help me get to grips with the theme which on first sight looks a bit daunting.
But I’m sure I’ll manage using your tutorial videos.
    Warmest regards,

Hi Jim, thank you for your time and energy for making these video tutorials. For me they are fantastic, well explained in simple layman terms and easy to understand (even I could understand the instructions, wow). It’s so refreshing to be able to just login and get the exact instructions to do something instead of having to trail through 6 different sites. thanks again, best regards Nick Perth,WA
