WordPress Tutorial: Add YouTube Video to Blog Posts

This WordPress Tutorial will show you how to add a YouTube Video to your blog posts. There are slightly different ways to do it, especially now that there is the iframe option. However, I have found that clicking on the checkbox for the “old embed code” will never cause me to have problems. This checkbox was NOT available when I made the original video in this post. This change to the video was so minor, however, that I decided to just add a picture of the box that needs to be checked before you copy and paste the code into your blog. Once you watch the video below, all shall become clear.

Thanks so much for this quick and clearly explained tutorial! I was having trouble until your tip about being sure I’m pasting the code in the HTML tab, not the Visual tab, so I’m so glad you said that!

    Thanks again,

I spend hours and hours on each video. I do make mistakes occasionally, but I do everything I can to make sure that ALL the necessary information is in every video.

If you EVER think I left something out, please let me know immediately. If I cannot reshoot the video, I can make a note in the blog post!

      Thanks for your support!
